Wanda Strukus

Acting, Theatre History

Wanda Strukus holds a PhD in Drama from Tufts University and has taught acting, directing, voice and movement, theater history, and Viewpoints at institutions throughout Boston and New England. Her local work includes directing for Another Country, SLAMBoston, Shakespeare in the Valley, Salem Theatre Company, The Revolving Museum, and UMass Lowell, casting direction for Boston-area film and television, and ongoing dance-collaboration and performance with Daniel McCusker Dance Projects.  Her artistic focus is in site-specific performance and the intersection of dance and theater, and she is a recent alumna of the Jacob’s Pillow Choreographer/Director’s Lab.  She is a regular contributor to the ASTR working group on cognitive science and performance.
