Finally, there was some plausible and interesting math in Numb3rs!
The central idea needed in breaking the case was the IDing of the suspect Ryan, AKA George Bailey. There had been no actual photo of him until the FBI snaps a picture of him, at night, on a bus. Unfortunately, the central part of the image is obscured by the reflection of the flash on the bus's window... continued »

Hi and welcome back to the blog. The math in last night's episode was rather downplayed, perhaps because we are still digesting Charlie's loss of security clearance. Also, continuing the trend of the past year or so, there is more emphasis on drama and action and less on mathematics... continued »
