Last night's show "Robin Hood" was, of course, a repeat since the writer's strike curtailed production of new episodes until April. I blogged a few things when it aired, especially

Kevin Short, who wrote the guest blog a few days ago, was part of the team that won a Grammy for Best Historical Recording. Congrats to Dr. Short and company.

Dr. Kevin Short is a mathematics professor at the University of New Hampshire and he is a nominee for one of this year's Grammy Awards. No, he is not a famous rock star or composer, but he and a team of experts have made an important contribution to music by developing mathematics to restore old and historic recordings.
